Landforms pool and landscaping construction was recently featured in Belle Magazine. Designed to optimise the sloping site towards sweeping harbour views, the three-level house blends naturally with its setting to create a seamless indoor-outdoor living flow.

Deep cantilevers provide sheltered year-round outdoor living areas and strong connection to the pool and surrounding gardens. The concrete cantilevers provide shade in summer and warm sunlight in winter, as well as thermal mass to store heat or cool when necessary.

Extensive excavation down into the site made room for a large courtyard on one side of the house, connected by an uninterrupted flow through glass walls to internal living areas and out to the pool and harbour beyond. The result is a residence deeply connected to its outdoor surroundings by appearing transparent.

As quoted in Belle magazine:

“My favourite aspect is the indoor-outdoor living,” says the owner. “With all the doors wide open, there’s no difference between inside and outside. All the outdoor spaces are covered, so you can sit there in comfort and watch it raining.”
